Felted wool collar - gotland (harriet)

I decided to do something completely different and try out an idea I've been wanting to try for a while - felted wool  collars! Several people I follow on Instagram make wool collars but I wanted to do something a bit different. So I allowed the wool to felt in the natural sections as it came off the sheep! This has created holes, dangly bits, irregular shapes and really let's the wool sing. They are all crafted in wool from my own flock. This one is from Harriet, loose felted with holes as the natural growth patterns of the sheep opened up when it felted. A elegant scarf or wrapped as a collar, a statement addition to your outfit!
Please note as these are natural sheep fleeces there may be tiny bits of vegetable matter I have missed though I try my hardest to ensure they are completely clean 😊
